 I am the oldest son of a itinerate central Texas 
sugar salesman and baker-man from Branch Davidian Territory, 
north of Baylor, Waco, Texas  by some 15 miles.  
My grandmother was a Iroquois princess, stay-at-home mom 
from Oklahoma, while my grandfather was a roaming 
lightening rod salesman rabbi who couldnt stay on his side
 of the the Red River. 

Ten years ago i moved to Acapulco 
from Houston Texas where I had played big daddy to no 
less than half dozen Vietnamese refugee families. 
Acapulco was going to be a cake walk!

Casa Condesa accepted its first guests  xmas of 1995.  


The original house was built by a gay couple from Palm Springs, California.   

They selected a littoral spot on the “original” costera vieja or coast road  with a panoramic view of the bay, 
one block from where the highway from Mexico City meets
 the current Costera, but more importantly just a short walk to the gay beach. [location, location, location......] 

By the late 80s one of the partners had died, 
and by the mid 90s the house 
had suffered such neglect as to call for a makeover.  
The property had been turned over to a Mexican lawyer who just wanted  
to lose an albatross and all its encumbrance.

Restoration took the better part
 of six months to supply

 three bedrooms
 in time for the first “season”.  

Our second year we had a total of 16 guests.  





Today it takes a modest crew to maintain 13 bathrooms and more!  





From the beginning it seems the pool has been a focal point of the property

as well as clothing optional (if pools could talk!)  

  Several years ago Casa Condesa  was appraised 
by enough of the gay population in Mexico City 
to prescribe the current 
arrangement of 9 individual bedrooms in a “boutique” adult setting.

Roman Santos, an Acapulco native, 
fluent in French with a conversational grasp of English is the current stage manager. 

Salvador comes to the house from Mexico City and 




Jose Luis hails from Morelia 
(after putting in almost 20 years 
with the locally famous Villa Vera private club....). 

  

 Pepe is from Ometipec.

From its inception Casa Condesa was conceived as the
 modified “American Plan” on steriods, an overall experience. 
Besides personnel each at ready to serve as concierge, 
there are accomplished massage therapists and body 
pampering (pedicure and manicure) services available on call.  
City tours and other excursions are easily arranged. 
24/7 computer is available and
 Wifi is operating throughout the property.

Breakfast is an individual matter available from 8.30 am to 1 pm daily
.An evening meal is served daily at 9 pm. 
There are two self-serve refreshment areas.

why it's hypocritical and contradictory
Every KIND of human being can marry. This isn't about the quantity (polygamy,polyandry)but the quality, caregiving. 
Caregiving is not a talent  bestowed on groups, but individuals. 
As
for the KIND of human that can marry...our laws do not recognize
character, ability to parent or BE a parent, whether you are an addict,
have violent tendencies, married many times before or that you be
mentally and physically healthy, or wealthy. 
Our marriage laws do not exclude anyone based on criminal record or debt. 
Every KIND of human can marry except GAY people. 
You can marry your social LIKE, or your social opposite, that choice is an option for every human being except gay people. 
Which is why, being anti gay marriage is to consider gay people LESS than human or less worthy of basic human rights. 
Marriage
is to make those unrelated, related (close relatives need not apply).
Our laws already recognize the closely related and reward them with the
rights so that marriage isn't necessary. 
Inheritance, medical decision, custody of a body, Social Security, etc.) 
The spouse is THE first line of support, action and caregiving above all others in society. 
Gay men and women are in no less need of that care, and are no less immune to the duty of care. 
So,
as any decent and fair minded person SHOULD realize, why ONLY gay men
and women the ONLY KIND of human being that can't marry? 
It's not for the protection of marriage, but the tradition of hatred towards gay people. 
SSM will work well in eliminating that animus. 
THAT's
what is truly in the air for the homophobes and they resent having to
work so hard to change ALL the rules, even in the traditions in the
Constitution. 
Homophobes make a mockery of religious compassion
and privacy, a mockery out of moral distinctions, a mockery out of
family advocacy. 
A mockery of the value they say they place in ALL human life. 
The homophobic are making a mockery of the creed of equality and the Golden Rule, a mockery of fairness,
 love and marriage. 
They are not nearly so worked up to keep the promiscuous or adulterers from marrying once or again as gays EVER. 
Pointing
to an ancient text with far more admonishments on adultery and divorce
than homosexuality STINKS of moral and social COWARDICE. 
If you're going to be in charge of marriage laws, make it the SAME for everyone! 
Yeah, thought so. 
Not so comfortable offending those adulterous and sinful POLITICIANS?

Lovingly planted nearly twenty years ago, the garden has flowers year round; bougainvillea, frangipani, hibiscus, ixora, chenille, oleander, musaenda, lady in a boat.

In the right seasons, there are fruits to pick; mango, lime, guava, paw paw (papaya) and star fruit.
